Pregnancy and work

• Pregnant women who are working should make sure that they have regular checkups with their physician in order to ensure care for themselves and their babies.

• It would be better if some of your colleagues are aware about your pregnancy so that they can ensure you don’t suffer much stress at work and can also assist you with any first aid when required. Also take leaves at appropriate days for your checkups and plan for a maternity leave well in advance.


• Sit in proper postures so that your body doesn’t tire so soon


• As always drink plenty of water and have servings of fruits, salads and shakes to avoid your self from starving. It would be better to avoid refined or junk food and caffeine based beverages.


• Have plenty of sleep at night so that you stay fresh throughout the next day.
